Labyrinth reopens at Hutt Hospital

Even before the diocese was established, there were the beginnings of the Catholic community in Wellington bringing together Catholic immigrant families. Bishop Pompallier celebrated the first Mass in Wellington on Christmas Day, 1840.

We listened to part of the pope’s message and were able to come to an understanding of what it means to be going to World Youth Day in Sydney 2008. We shared ideas and learnt about what it means to be a pilgrim. We discovered many amazing people in our lives that we just assumed were ‘average’.

The sausages were superb, the cakes simply delicious, the deals were spectacular and the pilgrims were very happy to have their fundraising efforts boosted by $2500.
